The day of the living dead and nameless other creatures commonly referred to as Halloween is almost upon us. I know that halloween is just another american excuse for a holiday but whats not to love about it? I think the fact that it is celebrated globally is a testament to the fact that really we all just like to dress up (most commonly drenched with fake blood) for a night and not need an excuse. Then again candy speaks for itself.
Summer is coming so one can only expect that the nights are shorter and the days are longer. The last few days have been nice beach dwelling and reading. But i hate the thought of the nights to come, those short summer nights when the sun comes up at 4am when it only hid behind the hills at 8pm. The nights when you toss in hope you will find a position under the fan where you don’t feel like your in a steam room. You have to shut the windows because of the afternoon thunder storm and even you skin feels damp, whilst you listen to the patter of rain on the the tin roof. As much as im dreading the thought of no longer being abel to curl up in my blanket im just hapy the year has come to an end.
Thinking about my last blog there are just a few photographs that I don’t want to go with it. Im not ready to say good bye to these photos i have taken over the last few months. Today marks my last day of high school study, as off 10am tomorrow morning i will never have any ’school work’ again. So, in a way this collection of photos marks the end of year 12. Hopefully I improve now I have free time unburdened with the thought of study that I know I’ll never get around to.
